Tong Pak Fu @ Burmah Road

 Finally got to try out this new dessert shop along Burmah Road, when my brother was back in Penang.

I must say, parking along Burmah Road can be very challenging since the road is always busy with traffic and it doesn't help that new eateries are sprouting along the same road, attracting customers.

French Pecan tart & ice-cream

 We ordered French pecan tart & ice-cream and I was super stunned at how small the tart came to be. Small as in really small. So this dessert, fair to say, was really really meant for one person. THe RM9.80 is quite expensive considering the size of the tart.

 

The other dessert ordered was the Must-Try ''Tracka Durian Snow Ice'' which costs RM11.80

This was surprisingly refreshing. It tasted like real durian ice. And the other sides (jelly, corn flakes, pearls) just complimented the whole dessert. Although, again, the price seemed a little on the high side.

 

Tong Pak Fu has another outlet in a place with better parking facilities - Gurney Plaza. I haven't been to that outlet yet.
