H&M in Penang!

Finally, H&M has opened it's door in the Pearl of the Orient!

There were bargains and promotions held in conjunction with their opening...on the 7th August...

Here's what I got...

Almost every girl/guy in Paragon had a H&M bag in their hands...
and yes, I was one of them... hehehhe

Rakuzen @ Gurney Paragon

I was so lucky to be treated to lunch at Rakuzen sometime back in August, before Raya

This meant that I finally had tasted all 3 outlets; Sushi Zanmai, Pasta Zanmai and now Rakuzen

As mentioned before, these three restaurants are under the same company... making these restaurants sort of sister companies...

Since I was being 'belanja-ed', well, I'll just let the pictures do the talking here... heheh

Here's what we all ordered...YUM!

Raw salmon...

the scallops were the BEST!! so creamy and fresh!!!

This is oysters... baked with cheese and set on top of salt beds... I was picking at t he salt beds for the longest time... despite me knowing it was for décor and to actually sit the oyster shell in ... hehehe. What can I say... I love salt

THe very much anticipated LOBSTER... unfortunately, for the price.. the size of the actual lobster was a disappointment.. too small leh..

tempura prawns... yum!

Salmon fish head... this was surprisingly filled with a lot of salmon meat!! Very satisfying!! :)))

All in all... a great meal, we had... !!
Loved the food here :)

Pasta Zanmai @ Gurney Paragon

As promised, here's my take of the time I had at Pasta Zanmai~!
For someone who loves pasta, the concept that Pasta Zanmai offers is simply awesome! The marriage of Japanese and Italian food... nice

Take a look at their menu...

 Nice selection of pizzas, pasta ie spaghetti...

I love the ambiance that whole restaurant gives... plus the lovely view of the sea... Gurney Drive...

Now, it's down to the food...
We ordered their house specials... Teriyaki chicken garlic omu rice...and spaghetti with salmon for me...

In addition to their ala chart menu, they actually offer set dishes... eg main course with soup and salad... or a choice of a set that comes with two mains.. like a combo...

Yummy vanilla ice cream in a chocolate coated wafer ... unfortunately, the wafer wasn't crispy.. :(

When it newly opened, the queues going into all three restaurants (pasta zanmi, sushi zanmai, rakuzen were insanely long!

Even now, there are still queues at peak hours...

Better go early if you want a seat! :)
