Penang used to have one Carl's Jr outlet back in the 90s'. Yes, it was thaaaaaaat long ago! But like many food outlets, this couldn't survive. However they did thrive in KL where I suppose the market is bigger and there are more food lovers who can afford this burger.
I for one absolutely LOVE their burgers! Carl's Jr burgers are different from your average McDonalds or Burger King in that their burgers are Grilled!!!
Although the prices here are more than McDonalds or Burger King, it's worth every penny. For starters, the burger size is huge for the price they're asking for. And second, the burger is packed with fillings! Just look at my half-eaten burger... SUPER YUM!!!
Here's hoping they bring Carl's Jr Burgers back to Penang soon :)
