One for My Bucket List

Today, I can scratch off of my bucket-list: Watching 2 movies back to back on the same day!
And it so happens that the 2 movies both premiered on the same day! Awesome or what!

The movies I chose were:-

Hunger Games & The Vow.

Hunger Games was such a great watch! I never expected it to have a romantic side to the movie. Simply put, it was AWESOME! I bawled my eyes out watching this movie too!!! Another special thing was that this movie premiered in Malaysia today 22.3.2012 and it premiers in America on 23.3.2012... so we get to see it first! A-W-E-SOME!

As for The Vow, well, it was kinda predictable and abit boring. I checked my Fb status twice (!) during that movie. Still, it was a tear jerker... (as expected) Most of the story-line was a 'Seen that, Done that' feeling. But the little tid-bit about this movie is that it's based on a TRUE STORY. Stay-on till the end for the one special picture that made this movie special :)

All in all, I've completed one of my Bucke-List thingies! Yay!

Real Steel - Movie Wednesday

Yeap! It's Wednesday and GSC is having a flat rate for all movies at RM6 per ticket.
I drove all the way to GSC @ Queensbay today to catch the 5pm show.
The movie i was watching - Real Steel, babe!

Yes,yes I know it's a boys movie, and you're right! But the robots and fight scenes were so cool!
And yes, Hugh Jackman & that little boy Dakota Goyo had real good on-screen chemistry as father & son.

Being a girl, i admit, I did cry watching the movie, despite the movie being a testosterone-charged one.
There were some heart-felt, tear-jerking moments!

All in all, a good movie to watch!

What's your number - Movie break!

Today, I needed my movie fix and a break from the books. Truthfully, I just wanted to escape. To chase that 'high' that I get from watching movies at the cinema.

So, today, I caught the 2.45pm movie at GSC Queensbay. It was between either Real Steel or What's Your Number? and being a girlie girl, I chose to watch a romantic comedy.

The show turned out to be really funny with Anna Faris being the main life of the story. And did I happen to mention that Chris Evan (from Captain America fame) was super hot and delicious eye-candy. There're even scenes of him almost buck naked! OMG! *blush* hahaha...

He plays Ally's love interest and makes her realize how comfortable he makes her feel. He makes her feel like herself when she's around him. Yes, a very "awww" moment. Was very romantic in that sense :)

So if you're a hopeless romantic like me, then 'What's Your Number" is just the movie for you!

P.S : this movie is full of sex jokes too! So parents, beware... And kids, err... dunno if you will get the jokes :P but it's a PG18 movie!!!!!!
